CVCC hands JDCC basketball a 77-68 home loss Monday

Despite having five of their seven scorers score in double figures, the Jefferson Davis Community College Warhawk basketball team suffered a 77-68 home loss to Chattahoochee Valley Monday night. The nine-point loss dropped the Warhawks to 5-16 overall and to 2-9 in conference play.
CVCC led JDCC 35-33 after one half and outscored JDCC 42-35 in the second half.
Keenan Williams led JDCC in the loss with 14 points. Adrian Rich added 13 while Brandon Davis, Fletcher Forte, and Zollie Johnson all had 11 each.
Ty’Qwan Bonner finished with six points while Jerry “LJ” Aaron chipped in two points.
Rich led JDCC in the loss with five total rebounds. Rich led with three on offense while Forte led with four on defense.
Bonner and Williams both finished with four assists each while Williams led with four steals and Davis led with three blocks.
JDCC will host Wallace-Selma Thursday night at 7 p.m.
