Rondal Howell

Rondal Howell, 73, of Jernigan Road in Brewton, passed away Wednesday night, Feb. 11, 2015, at his residence after a brief illness. He was a native and life long resident of Brewton. He was a member of the Catawba Springs Baptist Church. He founded Industrial Machine Works in 1975 and he worked there as a consultant in his later years. He began calf roping at the age of 60 and traveled all over the southeast and southwest competing in rodeos.
He is survived by his wife, Ann McLelland Howell of Brewton; two sons, Tim (Lisa) Howell and Lance (Wendy) Howell, both of Brewton; two grandchildren, Adam and Andrew Howell; one great-grandchild, Robby Howell; four sister-in-laws, Joy McLelland of East Brewton, Melva Howell of Flomaton and Pam Howell of Brewton.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Vera Jernigan Howell; four sisters, Reva Harper, Ruth Crawford, Grace Harris and Edna Manning; four brothers, William Howell, Lavon Howell, Renny Howell and Wayne Howell.
Funeral Services were held Saturday afternoon, Feb. 14, at 2 p.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Jeff Edwards officiating. Interment followed in Catawba Springs Cemetery in Brewton with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Brewton directing.

Patricia Ann Hallford Harrelson
Pensacola

Patricia Ann Hallford Harrelson, 77, of Muldoon Road in Pensacola, Fla., passed away Fri., Feb. 13, 2015, in a Pensacola, Fla., hospital after a brief illness. She was a native and former resident of Brewton before moving to Pensacola, Fla., in 1974. She was a member of the Pine Summitt Baptist Church, a member of the Daughter’s of the Nile and owned Ann’s Pet Salon.
She is survived by her husband, Bernard Harrelson of Pensacola, Fla.; one daughter, Donna Fuqua Weaver of Pensacola, Fla.; one brother, Ed (Bonnie) Hallford, Jr. of Cantonment, Fla.; three sisters, Jean Gibbs of Brewton, Agnes (Lamar) McKissack of Pensacola, Fla., and Edna (Jerry) Owens of Pensacola, Fla.; five grandchildren, Brian Stewart, Brandy Tyner, Jason Weaver, Lyndsay Erin Stewart, and Hunter Christian Stewart; five great-grandchildren, Tristian Mitchell, Chance Mitchell, Layne Archer, Brian R. Stewart, Jr., Daniel Stewart.
Funeral services were held Monday afternoon, Feb. 16, at 2 p.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with Dr. Bob Green officiating. Interment followed in Fort Crawford Cemetery in East Brewton with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Brewton directing.

Mae Lorene Robinson Brantley
Brewton

Mae Lorene Robinson Brantley, 85, of Jay Road in Brewton, passed away Sat., Feb. 14, 2015, at her residence after a brief illness. She was a native and former resident of Bloomington, Ind., and long time resident of Brewton. She was of the Baptist faith and co-owner of Brantley Texaco on Jay Road for over 30 years.
She is survived by her children, Shirley Presley of Milton, Fla., Steve (Connie) Carpenter of Brewton, Shawn (Barbara) Brantley of Pace, Fla., Dee (Lyle) Pittman of Pace, Fla., Susan (Jerry) Stout of Brewton, and George (Chris) Brantley of Brewton; 11 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and special caregivers, Sandy Ragan and Shannon Folson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William C. Brantley; her parents, Lonnie and Mary Jane Robinson; sister, Pauline Gillaspy; brothers, Hollond Robinson, Phillip Robinson, and Lonnie “Jigg” Robinson.
Visitation will held today from 10 until 11 a.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home in Brewton.
Funeral services are scheduled for today at 11 a.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Michael King officiating. Interment will follow in Odom Cemetery in Brewton, with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Brewton directing.

Linda Ervene Harper Lambeth

Linda Ervene Harper Lambeth, 66, of Petty Road in Brewton, passed away Sat., Feb. 14, 2015, at her residence. She was a native and former resident of Robertdale, and a long time resident of Brewton. She was a member of the Divine Temple Church, a former employee of Monsanto and a cashier for many years at IGA, Piggly Wiggly, and Wal-Mart.
She is survived by her husband, Earl Lambeth of Brewton; one daughter, Lynn Grubbs (Charlie) Clark of Brewton; one step-son, Troy Lambeth of Brewton; one step-daughter, Felecia Drew of Brewton; and one grandson, Maddox Lynn.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene Miles and Mary Belle Harper; two brothers, Durwood Sahr and Roy Harper; and son-in-law Art Lynn.
Visitation will held Friday morning, Feb. 20, from 10 until 11 a.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Brewton.
Funeral services are scheduled for Friday morning, Feb. 20, at 11 a.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Doug Greer officiating. Interment will follow in Weaver Cemetery in Brewton, Alabama with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Brewton directing.

Hosie Journivee “Slim” Jackson
Castleberry

Hosie Journivee “Slim” Jackson, 76, of Castleberry, died Sun., Feb. 15, 2015, in a Mobile hospital.
He was born in Brewton and had been a life long resident of Castleberry. He served in the National Guard and was a truck driver and carpenter during his working years. He was a member of Victory Christian Center, and American Legion Post No. 79. He was preceded in death by a son, Ricky Jackson; a daughter, Brenda Jo Kirchak; and a brother, James Clinton Jackson.
He is survived by his wife, Virginia Peavy Jackson of Castleberry; one son, Joey Jackson of Baldwin County; two daughters, Dollie Jones of Brewton and Susie Jean Jackson of Robertsdale; step-son, Archie (Tara) Tanner, Jr. of Brewton; step-daughters, Tammy Wilson of East Brewton, Robin Hammac (Bobby Wilson) of East Brewton, and Lisa (Ed) Jones of Mobile; two brothers, J.B. (Judy) Jackson of Castleberry, and Bobby Jackson of Brewton; one sister, Imogene Jackson of East Brewton; half-sisters, Tressie Lou Jackson, and Nessie Jo of Florida; step-sister, Judy Tootill of Bay Minette; two uncles, Autrey Jackson of East Brewton and Mack “Doc” Nelson of Holt, Fla.; numerous grand-children, great grandchildren and other family and friends.
Funeral services will be held today at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Craver’s Funeral Home with the Rev. Andy Peevy and the Rev. Doug Greer officiating. Interment will follow in Spears Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at Craver’s Funeral Home on Wednesday from noon until service time at 2 p.m.
Pallbearers will be Jr. Nelson, Craig Rey, Dennis Jackson, Danny Jackson, Donnie Ray Jackson, and Nathan Gillis.

Hattie Cordell, a resident of Brewton, passed away Sat., Feb. 14, 2015, at a local medical facility in Pensacola, Fla.
Funeral services will be held Sat., Feb. 21, at 11 a.m. Internment will follow in the Shady Grove Cemetery with the Rev. Rodney Lindsey, pastor, officiating.
