JDCC basketball falls to Selma

The Jefferson Davis Community College Warhawk basketball team suffered their third straight loss Thursday night at home as they were handed an 86-82 loss from Wallace State-Selma.
Trailing 49-43 after the first half of play, JDCC rallied in the second half with a 39-37 scoring advantage, but took the loss by four points.
Four Warhawks scored in double figures as Fletcher Forte led in the loss with 23 points. Adrian Rich joined in double figures with 18 points followed by Keenan Williams’ 15 and Brandon Davis’ 11.
Zollie Johnson chipped in nine points while Jerry Aaron had six.
Rich, Davis and Aaron all led with two offensive rebounds while Rich grabbed seven on defense to lead with seven total.
Davis led with three steals and two blocks while Aaron led with five assists.
After playing at Alabama Southern on Monday, JDCC will play their final home game and regular season game of the year on Wednesday against LBW. Game time is set for 7 p.m. in Brewton.
