JDCC baseball sweeps Spring Hill

In their second game Monday against Spring Hill College, the Jefferson Davis Community College Warhawk baseball team earned the sweep of the Badgers as they claimed a 6-0 win. The win moved JDCC to 5-7 overall this season.
In the game two win Monday, JDCC held SHC scoreless the entire game while using a two-run third inning, one run in the fifth and three runs in the sixth inning to get the six-run win.
Justin Abdo, Dalton Edwards and Ryan Gauci all pitched in the win for the Warhawks of JDCC.
The trio of JDCC pitchers combined to go seven innings and allowed three hits, no runs, walked two and struck out five.
At the plate, JDCC pounded out 12 hits in the win.
Brandon Davis was a perfect 4-for-4 for the Warhawks as he had a double and two RBIs. John-Mark Cosby was 2-for-4 with a double and Craig Headley was 2-for-3 with a double. Heath Young and Brandon Bilek were both 1-for-2 with two RBIs each while Riley Stokes was 1-for-3 with a double. Brandon Goins went 1-for-1 for the Warhawks.
