T.R. Miller’s JV softball team remained undefeated Monday as they hosted Hillcrest and came away with a sweep of the Lady Jaguars.
TRM won game one 17-4 and game two by a score of 8-2 to move to 4-0 this season.
In game one, Kaleigh Folsom was the winning pitcher as she allowed six hits and four runs in two innings of work. Folsom struck out two, walked one batter and hit two batters.
The Lady Tigers had seven hits in the 13-run win.
Top hitters for the Lady Tigers were Myra Reiss with a 2-for-2 day including an inside-the-park homerun and Folsom with two singles. Steely Ruzic went 1-for-3 with a triple.
In game two, Anna Grace White pitched the Lady Tigers to the win as she allowed no hits and two runs in the win. White struck out four, walked three and hit one batter over three innings.
TRM had eight hits in the win. Reiss led with a 1-for-2 day at the plate with a double.
The game was called in the bottom of the third inning due to the time limit.
