Dubose pitches no-hitter for WSN softball in Tuesday’s win at MCHS

Haleigh Dubose pitched a no-hitter for the W.S. Neal softball team Tuesday in Monroeville to lead the Lady Eagles to a 4-0 win over Monroe County. The win improved WSN to 5-10 overall as they picked up their second straight win.
Dubose went all seven innings for WSN and allowed no runs, no hits, walked none, and struck out nine.
While Dubose kept MCHS hitless, WSN only had three hits in the win.
Erin Hartsel, Tori Wyatt and Brianna Pugh all had one hit each.
WSN’s runs came in the first and fourth innings to take a 2-0 lead and added two more in the fifth.
The JV Lady Eagles won 5-4 over Monroe County to improve their record to 3-2 this season.
Aleigh Lanier pitched in the win for the Lady Eagles. No other stats or game information was known as of press time.
