The East Brewton Indians downed the East Brewton Rays 2-1 Thursday night in East Brewton.
The Rays led the Indians 1-0 after one inning before plating two runs in the second inning to propel them to the one-run win.
Tyler Brooks earned the win on the mound for the Indians while Samuel Bosarge earned the save. Brooks pitched 4 1/3 innings and allowed one run on three hits, walked three and struck out 10.
Bosarge went the final 2/3 innings and struck out two.
At the plate for the Indians, Russell Ball had one hit, one RBI and one stolen base while Bosarge added a hit and had two stolen bases.
Walker Cunningham finished with three stolen bases and scored one run for the Indians while Alex Alvarez scored a run and had two stolen bases.
With the win, the Indians moved to 2-3 overall this season.
No stats were known from the Rays.
Also no stats or game information from any other Brewton or East Brewton games were known as of press time.

In recent youth baseball and softball action in East Brewton, the Brewton Slammerz 12U softball team, EB 10U Dodgers, 10U Lady Eagles Orange softball, 10U Lady Eagles Blue softball, 12U Lady Eagles Yellow softball, and the 12U EB Indians all earned wins.
The Slammerz defeated EB Lady Eagles Yellow 11-5 while the Dodgers won 18-5 over the Mariners; Lady Eagles Orange won 7-6 over Lady Eagles Blue; Lady Eagles Yellow won 5-4 over Lady Eagles Blue; and the Indians defeated the Orioles 10-6.
No other stats or game information from Brewton or East Brewton baseball and softball league games were known as of press time.

Brewton Slammerz 11, EB Yellow 5
For Brewton, Courtland Salter pitched and allowed five runs on three hits, walked two and struck out eight.
At the plate, Salter had the lone hit and scored three runs.
For EB, Taylor Peters and Courtney Dudley pitched and combined to allow 12 runs on one hit, walked 11 and struck out six.
At the plate, Peters, Makayla Crook and Katelyn Wilson had a single each.

EB Dodgers 18, Mariners 5
Keyshon Paul allowed five runs on three hits, walked none and struck out six in an 18-5 win for the Dodgers over the Mariners.
At the plate for the Dodgers, Brodie Brown, Carson Stinson and Copeland Dykes all had one hit each.
For the Mariners, Easton Grace led with two hits while Matt Bouldree, Collin Nelson and Chasen Collins had one hit each.
Grace, Cam Watson, Nelson and Jon Jon Paul all pitched in the loss.

EB Orange 7, EB Blue 6
For the Lady Eagles Orange softball team in their 7-6 win over EB Blue, Devon Graves pitched in the win and allowed six hits, four runs, walked five and struck out four.
The team had no hits.
For the EB Blue team, Jailyn Bondurant pitched a no-hitter in the loss as she allowed seven runs, no hits, walked nine and struck out eight.
Grace Sims, Bondurant, Brooklyn Blake and Madison Nelson had one hit each in the loss.

EB Yellow 5, EB Blue 4
For the Lady Eagles Yellow softball team, Dudley earned the pitching win as she allowed four runs on three hits, walked and struck out three.
Crook led with two this while Asia Davis, Wilson and Lana Hart had one each.
For the Blue team, Madison White and Ashley Wyatt pitched in the loss as they combined to allow five runs on four hits, walked two and struck out eight.
Kendal Carpenter had a triple while White and Kaylee Hunter had one single each.

EB Indians 10, Orioles 6
The EB Indians took down the EB Orioles 10-6.
For the Indians, Tyler Brooks earned the pitching win as he allowed six runs on four hits, walked two and struck out eight.
Devon Spencer led with two singles while Brooks also led as he had two doubles. Samuel Bosarge added a double while Russell Ball, Dustin Hammac and Eric Murphy had a single each.
For the Orioles, Jordan Tolin had a double along with Konner Wood. Dawson Lucas finished with two singles.
On the mound, Tristan Simpson and Tolin pitched and combined to allow 10 runs on seven hits, walked three and struck out two.
