Mayor Yank Lovelace announced Monday that the Curtis Findley Foundation has stepped up to help fund the rennovations at the T.R. Miller athletic facility.
While the dollar amount is unknown, Superintendent Lynn Smith said Tuesday, “So far the school board has had monetary pledges to allow us to be able to add the concession stand/restrooms building back to the original project.”
In May, the city contributed $100,000 after a nearly $200,000 funding shortfall for the $1.96 million project.
