Fishers of Men, Alabama South, fishes in Demopolis

Fishers of Men, Alabama South, held their fifth and final team tournament of 2015 recently on Demopolis Lake in Demopolis.
At the end of the day, the group brought 41 fish to the scales, weighing in at 94.01 pounds. When all of the fish were weighed in, the team of Lou Cobb and Mike Raugh took first place. With five fish that weighed 14.11 pound. They had a kicker that weighed in at 5.33 pounds, but it was edged out of the big fish slot by another fish. The duo caught their fish on Premier League spinner baits.
Second place went to Casey and Lane for five fish that weighed 13.57 pounds to take second place. They caught their fish on crank baits, shaky heads, jig and a frog.
The big fish of the day was caught by the team of Mike Barnett and Kevin Dunsford. They caught it in 16-feet of water on a Burkley power worm. It weighed in at 5.55 pounds.
After a tie for the points champion race, the tiebreaker went to the total weight for the year and the team of Wayne and Lisa Cox claimed the prize. Their winning of points champions this year gets them the points pot, an automatic birth to the National Championship and from Frog Togs a new rain suit for each.
