Aborted Traffick is in the final stages of completion and is on track for a red carpet premiere at the JDCC Auditorium on Oct. 24.
“We would like to thank everyone from the community involved,” said writer/producer/director Bea W. Bliss, “And to those who have donated and supported thus far.”
The short film revolves around human trafficking in a small city and a young artist’s mission to uncover the truth.
The film is now in post-production, which includes complete editing and soundtrack recording with the actors that portray the band members in the film, who are local musicians.
“The film has received offer to air on cable TV stations throughout the state of Virginia, and will be entered into local, regional, and national film festivals throughout the world to showcase the story, talent, and creative work of the crew,” said Bliss.
In an effort to raise funds for completing the film, donations are being gathered. Each donation has a perk that can be chosen such as a movie poster, T-shirt or pre-ordered DVD. The merchandise will not be available to purchase at the premiere. A GoFundMe account has been launched to gather donations. Visit www.gofundme.com/v526abrs .
Red carpet movie premiere booklet ads are available to place for individuals or businesses. These ads can be for any purpose such as sales, information, memorial, “shout outs”, etc. There is also a Patron’s List included on the last pages of the booklet for those who want to donate.
