The TRM Lady Tigers JV (2-0) and varsity (3-0) remained undefeated sweeping Monroe County Thursday night.

JV won comfortably in straight sets, 25-6 and 25-12 to take the match.

Varsity won in straight sets, 25-11, 25-14, 25-8. In the third game Lady Tiger Grace Ruzic served 16 in a row, seven of which were aces.

Volleyball head coach Terri Lynne Peacock was very proud of her team’s play against Monroe County. “We did a good job reading the ball against Monroe County,” Peacock said. “Monroeville kept us on our toes with several second touch contacts over the net. We were very aggressive offensively.”

Leading TRM was Mykayla Harris, Amelia Peach and Taylor Austin with 6 kills each.

TRM will travel to Opp on Tues., Sept. 8. Game time is 5:30 pm.
