Flomaton Church’s Chicken robbed at gunpoint

Police are searching for two men following the armed robbery of Flomaton Church’s Chicken at approximately 10 p.m. Sunday.

Flomaton Chief Bryan Davis said officers were called to the U.S. Hwy. 31 restaurant at approximately 10:08 p.m.

“According to witnesses, two black males entered Church’s,” Davis said. “Both were wearing some type of clothing covering their face – one with a blue hoodie and a small handgun; the other, a red hoodie. Both fled the scene on foot.”

Units from Escambia County sheriff’s offices in Alabama and Florida assisted Flomaton set up a perimeter, while Century and Camp 5 k-9 units from Atmore assisted in the ground search for the two men, Davis said.
