Carlson wins first XC home meet
In T.R. Miller’s first cross country home meet of the season, the Tigers emerged victorious in both the boys’ and girls’ competitions.
Three other schools – Flomaton, Jay and Northview – traveled to Brewton Tuesday for the 3.2-mile race.
TRM’s Travis Carlson was first across the finish line in the boys’ competition, while Flomaton’s Shelby Barnes earned a first place win for the Hurricanes.
In the boys’ race, Jay finished second; Flomaton, third and Northview, fourth.
In the girls’ race, Flomaton finished second followed by Northview.
Rounding out the TRM boys’ roster and finishing times included:

• Andrew Politte, 20:45;
• Tailand Mitchell, 21:41;
• Tanner McDaniel, 22:22;
• Ashton Hines, 22:33;
• Noah Morris, 22:54;
