Described as a modern day ‘Von Trapp’ family, the Willis Clan will arrive in Brewton on Nov. 12.

The Willis Clan will be bringing their talents to Brewton at the JDCC auditorium today at 7 p.m.

Like a modern day “Von Trapp Family,” all fourteen members of the Willis Clan have dedicated their lives to music, dance, and art. Since moving to the Nashville area 14 years ago from Chicago, The Willis Clan have combined their Irish roots with the multi-genre influences of music city – resulting in a unique style that’s a “little bit country and a little bit rock” and blends elements of both traditional and modern sounds.

The band says they can’t wait to thrill the city of Brewton.

“Our live shows merge our Irish roots with other musical and dance genres to create a unique blend that is old and new, “ the band said. “We’re looking forward to thrilling our fans in Brewton with a diverse and dynamic show that is fun for the entire family. There’s something for everyone!”

The Willis Clan is made up of parents Brenda and Toby and their 12 children; Jessica, Jeremiah, Jennifer, Jeanette, Jackson, Jedi, Jasmine, Juliette, Jamie, Joy Anna, Jaeger and Jada.

They have performed regularly on The Grand Ole Opry stage alongside many of today’s hottest names in Country Music. TWC became a household name after receiving mainstream national attention as contestants on season nine of “America’s Got Talent.” This year has been an exciting year for the clan; with the popularity of their new TLC reality show “The Willis Family,” along with the release of their third studio album, Heaven. TWC are currently playing shows throughout the country and filming season two of their hit reality show.

Tickets can be purchased at the door for $15 for adults and $8 for children and students.

Shows are coordinated through the Brewton Council of the Arts. Season tickets are still available for the 2015-16 season. For more info and online season ticket purchases visit brewtoncouncilofthearts.com.
