Choo-choo Farmers’ Market season opening is set for Saturday at 9 a.m.

Seventeen vendors are signed up as of Monday with more anticipated by the end of the week.

“We are happy to report that several new produce vendors are participating this year as well as many art and crafts specialists,” said Brewton’s director of program management Connie Baggett.

Opening day music will feature local favorites Kenny Stitcher and Mudcats, as well as Sugar Cane Jane.

Vendor space is still available with produce vendors participating free of charge and all other spaces just $10 weekly. Call 251.809.1777 for more information.
