‘Becoming Hank’ to hit stage
Rheta Grimsley Johnson’s “Hiram; Becoming Hank Williams” will take the stage on Sat., Aug. 30.
The piece will follow Williams’ humble beginnings through his rise to stardom and the people who propelled him along the way.
The play will be center stage at Jefferson Davis Community College at 7 p.m. Tickets are $15 for adults and $8 for students at the door.
Representatives confirmed Williams’ daughter Jett Williams will attend the production in Brewton.
