Three Escambia County students were selected as members of the National Technical Honor Society during induction ceremonies at Reid State on April 18.

Inductees included:

• Derrick Barton of Brewton, welding;

• Shelley Mothershed of Atmore, Cosmetology,; and,

• Christopher Deck of Wing, welding.

NTHS’s mission is to honor student achievement and leadership, promote educational excellence, award scholarships, and enhance career opportunities.  The Society is committed to the recognition of excellence in every arena of career and technical education – student achievement, community service, outstanding chapters, and contributions from business, industry, and educational professionals.
