Margaret Ann Brantley Westrope
Brewton
Margaret Ann Brantley Westrope, 76, of Juniper Creek Drive in Brewton, passed away Tues., May 24, 2016, in a local hospital after a brief illness.
Funeral services were held Sat., May 28, at 11 a.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. John Finklea officiating.
Interment followed in Green Acres Cemetery in Brewton, with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
She was a native and life long resident of Brewton. She was a member of the Brewton First Baptist Church, a 1957 graduate of T.R. Miller High School and retired postal clerk from the U.S. Postal Service with 32 years of service. She was a member of the Brewton Lions Club, and she loved clogging.
She is survived by her two sons, Mason Fleming Jr. of Jacksonville, Fla., and Mack Fleming of Brewton; step-daughter, Deborah Westrope Kinney of Hattisburg, Miss.; brothers, David (Janet) Brantley of Andalusia and Gary (Pam) Brantley of Pensacola, Fla.; and three grandchildren, Kara Fleming, Daniel Prather and Lauren Prather.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Malcolm and Marjorie Findley Brantley; and stepson, Greg Westrope.

Ralph Eugene Ellis Sr.
Brewton
Ralph Eugene Ellis Sr., 75, of Evergreen Ave. in Brewton passed away Fri., April 22, 2016, in a Pensacola, Fla., hospital after a brief illness.
Private family graveside services were held Mon., April 25, at 2 p.m. at Weaver Cemetery with Mark Ellis officiating and Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
He was a native of Brewton, and a former resident of Lake Martin, before moving back to Brewton. He was a 1960 graduate of W.S. Neal High School and owned Ellis Cabinets. He was a man who enjoyed life, people, motorcycles and traveling.
He is survived by his wife, Nell Weaver Ellis of Brewton; two sons, Ralph, Jr. “Rusty” (Wanda) Ellis and Shane (Donna) Ellis, both of Brewton; two brothers, James (Margaret) Ellis of Semmes, and Harvey (Sandy) Ellis of Brewton; a sister, Anne Ellis of Milton, Fla.; three granddaughters, Heather Edwards, Halie Ball and Lauren Wright, three grandsons, Michael Ellis, Denver Harris and Walker Harris, and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Etta Lee Watson Ellis, and a sister, Mary Lee Riddle.

Sharon Delan White Freeman
Flomaton
Sharon Delane White Freeman, 54, of Forest Hill in Flomaton passed away Wed., May 25, 2016, at her residence after a brief illness.
She was a native and life long resident of Escambia County. She was a member of the Flomaton Pentecostal Church, 1980 graduate of Flomaton High School, and she attended Jefferson Davis Community College, and was a U.S. National Guard Veteran. She was a former insurance agent with Larry White Insurance and Liberty National Life Insurance Company and was a homemaker.
She survived by her father, Sam (Christine) White of Flomaton; husband, Ronald Freeman of Flomaton; son, Ron Freeman of Flomaton; three daughters, Jennifer Reaves of Crestview, Fla., Marcia Lynn Freeman of Atmore, and Kimberly Nicole Hamilton of Flomaton; two brothers, Sammy Dewayne White and Shannon Dale White of Flomaton, both of Flomaton; sister, Sherry Caraway of Atmore; 14 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Sun., May 29, 2016, at 3 p.m. at the Flomaton Pentecostal Church with the Rev. Al Bethea and the Rev. Rick Freeman officiating.
Interment followed in Rock Cemetery Flomaton with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.

Jessie Earnest Fillmore
Brewton
Jessie Earnest Fillmore, 85, of Evans Street in Brewton, passed away Thurs., May 26, 2016, at a family members home.
Funeral services were held Sat., May 28, at 3 p.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Waylon Stuckey officiating.
Interment followed in Canaan Cemetery in Brewton with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
He was a native and life long resident of Escambia County. He was a member of the Canaan Free Will Baptist Church and attended Wallace School. He was a farmer and a pipefitter in the construction industry.
He is survived by his son, Barry (Faye) Fillmore of Brewton; brother, Robert Fillmore of Atmore; sister, Sang Hayles of Atmore; six grandchildren, Michelle Kornegay, Matt Fillmore, Kristin Fillmore, Greg Fillmore, Tracey Harp and Kevin Fillmore; and 10 great grandchildren, Andrew, Cameron, Olivia, Weston, Raeleigh, Hannah, Jessica, Trevor, Ella and Jax.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Christine Lisenby Fillmore; son, Kenny Fillmore; and brothers, Bill Fillmore and Jerry Fillmore; and sister Jane Davis.

Joy Jean Nolin
Flomaton
Joy Jean Nolin, 86, of Flomaton passed away on Mon., May 23, 2016, in Evergreen.
Funeral services were held on Fri., May 27, at First Baptist Church of Flomaton at 11 a.m. with Dr. Jerry Keese and Dr. Dustin Stockstill officiating and Flomaton Funeral Home directing.
Interment will follow in Flomaton Cemetery in Flomaton.
Pallbearers were Scotty Stewart, Chris Pierce, Donald Nolin, Dennis Gorum, David Nolin and Douglas Nolin.
She was born in McKenzie and graduated from Evergreen High School in 1948. She had been a member of the Flomaton community since 1951 coming from Conecuh County. She was the co-owner of Nolin’s Electrical Service and a member of First Baptist Church of Flomaton.
She was preceded in death by her husband, A.N. Nolin.
She is survived by her sons, Richard (Martha) Nolin of Evergreen and Donald (Brenda) Nolin of Flomaton; brothers, Charles King of Medford, Ore., and Martin King of Pensacola, Fla.; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
