TRM ranked No. 3 in preseason

The Alabama Sports Writers Association ranked the T.R. Miller Tigers No. 3 in the pre-season Class 3A football polls.
Pieldmont and Gordo were ranked first and second, respectively. The Piedmont received 28 first place votes after going 14-1 and winning the state title last season. Gordo received two first place votes.
Rounding out the top-10 was:
• No.1: Piedmont
• No. 2: Gordo
• No. 3: T.R. Miller
• No. 4: Bayside Academy
• No. 5: Hillcrest-Evergreen
• 6: Opp
• 7: Montevallo
• 8: Colbert County
• 9: Daleville
• 10: Oakman
TRM will face No. 5 ranked Hillcrest on the road on Sept. 9. On Oct. 14, TRM will travel to No. 4 Bayside Academy.
