Outreach Thrift Store and Compassion for Brewton will host its first annual anniversary sale on Fri., Sept. 16, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.
Pastor Bo Bell said 10 percent of the day’s sales will be donated to the Drugs Erase Dreams in Escambia County program, a drug prevention program offered in area schools.
“This is our way of saying ‘thank you’ to the community for all your prayers, support and donations to Outreach Thrift Store,” Bell said. “Throughout this past year, we have been able to give money to many different organizations in Brewton, 5,000 pounds of free clothes and help to those in need.
“Compassion for Brewton’s goal is to help people and organizations in need,” he said. “So, every time you partner with Outreach Thrift and Compassion for Brewton, you are helping someone turn their life around.”
Free food and door prizes will be given throughout the day.
