Miller volleyball makes quick work of Northview
The T.R. Miller varsity volleyball team defeated Northview Thursday in straight sets; 25-8, 25-12 and 25-15. Early in the day the JV also won in straight sets; 25-9 and 25-10. Bailey Douglas finished set two with 12 serves in a row.
Varsity head coach Terri Lynne Peacock said the varsity win was a great victory for the Lady Tigers.
“We were able to keep our consistency in our serves and serve receive,” Peacock said. “Our hitters also did a good job tonight minimizing errors.”
Miller will travel to Mobile Thurs., Sept. 8, to play UMS-Wright at 4:30 p.m. and Cottage Hill at 5:30 p.m. Both JV and varsity will play at the same time on two different courts.
