Flomaton Texaco robbed
Flomaton police are investigating an armed robbery of the local Texaco station.
FPD chief Bryan Davis said the incident occurred at the intersection of U.S. Hwy. 29 and U.S. Hwy. 31 just before 1 a.m. Tuesday.
“Two armed subjects, fully disguised, entered the store and demanded money,” Davis said. “An undisclosed amount of cash was taken, but thankfully, no injuries occurred during the robbery.”
Davis said Department of Corrections tracking dogs attempted to locate the suspects, but were unsuccessful.
The investigation remains ongoing. Anyone with any information is asked to contact the FPD at 251.296.5811.
