High school basketball season is rapidly approaching with both local teams announcing its 2016-17 season schedule.

W.S. Neal basketball will open its season Thurs., Nov. 17 at home versus Flomaton.

Area games will be played versus Monroe County, Andalusia and Escambia County.

T.R. Miller will open its season on Mon., Nov. 28, at home versus Straughn.

Area games will be played versus Flomaton, Hillcrest and Excel.
