The W.S. Neal Lady Eagles had 12 hits as a team in its 8-3 victory over area opponent Escambia County Thursday.

Senior Adria Barnett led the way, going 3-for-4 with two RBIs. Makayla Crook was 3-for-4 with an RBI. Alexis McNew had a hit and two RBIs. Jena Wyatt, Tori Wyatt and Brianna Pugh each had an RBI.

Ashli Wyatt picked up her second win of the season for WSN. Wyatt gave up three runs on five hits and one walk. She struck out eight batters.

The Lady Eagles are 2-1 for the season. The varsity will compete this weekend in the Thomasville Dig Pink tournament.
