Locals graduate airman basic training in Texas

U.S. Air Force Airman 1st Class Jamiee J. McLemore graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.

The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.

Airmen who complete basic training also earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.

McLemore is the daughter of Alice E. McLemore and Horace D. Jennings of Atlanta and James D. Bettina McLemore Jr. of Pensacola, Fla., and granddaughter of Frankie L. Mclemore and James D. McLemore Sr. of Flomaton. She is also the sister of James D. McLemore III.

The airman graduated in 2015 from Pensacola High School.

Siu is the son of Andrew Siu of Saint Petersburg, Fla.

He is a 2016 graduate of Northview High School in Century, Fla.
