AU landscape architect to speak at luncheon

The Garden Club of Brewton and Meadorwood Garden Club are hosting a “Principle for Improving Curb Appeal” luncheon, featuring Judd Langham, Auburn University campus planner and landscape architect and Brewton native.

The luncheon is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 16 at First United Methodist Church of Brewton and will begin at 11 a.m.

Langham earned his bachelor of science in horticulture with an emphasis in landscape design from Auburn University in 2003. He received his master of landscape architecture in 2007, also from Auburn. 

He worked for a landscape architecture, planning and urban design firm in Philadelphia following graduation, where he worked on projects across the country, including California, Wisconsin, New York and Maryland. He returned to Alabama to work for a Birmingham multi-disciplinary firm for three years before creating 2D Studio in 2010.

In 2013, Langham relocated he landscape architecture, urban design and planning firm to Auburn.

He currently serves as an invited guest juror at Auburn University for Master of Landscape Architecture design studio reviews, and he serves as a guest lecturer at both the University of Alabama at Birmingham and Auburn University.
