WSNMS student jailed for terrorist threat
Staff Reports
A WSN Middle School student was charged with making a terrorist threat after he allegedly made threats toward the school and faculty members.
Authorities are withholding the name of the student due to age, but the student was arrested on Friday.
Escambia County Sheriff’s Office reports show that faculty members and the school resource officer found enough evidence to deem the threat as credible.
Chief Deputy Mike Lambert said police executed a search warrant at the 13-year-old’s home and weapons were taken from the residence.
