If you are looking for your kids to have the best summer vacation and give you parents a little time to rest, then sign them up for the Brewton YMCA summer camp.

The summer camp is for kids K-6.

The camp will provide a healthy and wholesome environment in which your child may develop to his or her potential as an individual and as a special child of God.

The program features fun, new experiences and personal enrichment. It will have the following items: swimming, games, arts and crafts, sports and group time are just part of the basic programs. In addition field trips, weekly themes and special events.

“The field trips will be a fun thing for the kids,” Daniel McNamara said.

The registration fee will be $25 per child for YMCA members and $50 for non-members. A weekly fee for three or more days of camp $85 per child YMCA member and $110 for non-member.

Lunch and snacks will be included in the weekly fee. The drop in fee one or two days in camp $28 per day, Y-member/$43 per for non-member. The late pick-up fee is $1 per minute after 6 p.m.

A few general policies will be that children will be released only to the people who are on the pick-up list on the registration form. The children must be signed in and out each day. The sign out table is located in the new gym. Parents are asked to keep your child information medical/contact phone numbers up to date. The playwear for your child should be comfortable shirts, shorts and running shoes for playing and etc. For more information contact McNamara, camp coordinator at 867-9622.
