The deadline to apply for an absentee ballot is Thursday, July 12, 2018 and the application must be received by the close of business.

The deadline to return your absentee ballot once received is by the close of business, Monday, July 16, 2018. If a voter is submitting their ballot by mail it must be postmarked no later than Monday, July 16, 2018. If a voter is returning their absentee ballot in person it must be hand delivered no later than July 16, 2018 at the close of business.

Statewide Primary Runoff Election is set for Tuesday, July 17, 2018.

In Escambia County, there is only a Republican runoff.

For associate justice of supreme court, place 1: Brad Mendeim and Sarah Hicks Stewart

For court of civil appeals, place 1: Christy Edwards and Michelle Thomason.

For commissioner of ag and industries: Gerald Dial and Rick Pate
