T.R. Miller High football tickets are available at Pic N Sav, Jus Do, the Medical Center Pharmacy, Brewton Middle School and in the office at T.R. Miller High School. Advance tickets are $6 and at the gate $7.

Aug. 31

Range Assembly of God will host a gospel singing from 6 to 9 p.m. in Range, Ala. on Ala. 41. Local talent will be included and refreshments will be served afterward.

Sept.  1

A benefit program for Sister Margie Bell will be held at the Church of the Living God Temple 122 in Castleberry at 5 p.m. All choirs, groups and soloists are invited to be part of the service. For more information, call 230-5381 or 227-3061.

Sept. 4

The Escambia County Commission will have an administrative workshop at 4 p.m..

Sept 8

The Zion Fountain AME Zion Church, located at 505 Sowell Road, and the Alabama Department of Corrections are sponsoring a Job Fair from 10 a.m to 1 p.m.

Sept. 10

The Escambia County Commission will have a regular session at 9 a.m. in the county commission chambers at the courthouse in Brewton.

Sept. 11, 18, 25

Communities of Transformation will meet on these dates from 5:30 to 8 p.m.

Sept. 9-12

St. Mark Missionary Baptist Church on Pea Ridge Road, will have revival services. Sunday the service will be at 11 a.m. and the other services will be at 7 p.m. with different pastors each time.

Sept. 16

Damascus Assembly Church will have Homecoming at 10:30 a.m. Bro. David Baggett will preach the morning service. Lunch will be served and singing will be held in the afternoon. Bring a covered dish and make plans to attend.

Sept. 22

Brewton Branch NAACP 5010 will hold the Annual Freedom Banquet 2018 at the Brewton Civic Center behind Brewton City Hall. Tickets are $25 each.
