Smith said his department is treating this case as a possible abduction, but they have not had any new leads.

McBride was last seen by her family around 6:30 p.m. on Friday.

The sheriff’s department has been assisted by multiple agencies over the weekend and into this early part of the week.

Smith said the sheriff’s office has notified all area law enforcement agencies, and the state fusion center has provided her photo and all information to all Alabama law enforcement agencies as well as Florida agencies.

“We have three investigators working on Ms. McBride’s disappearance,” he said.

She is described at 5-feet, 4 inches tall, weighing about 120 pounds with brown eyes and gray hair.

If anyone has seen a person resembling McBride or has information that may help find her please call the ECSO at 251-867-0304 or call your local law enforcement agency.
