A capital murder trial is expected to begin on Thursday for the man accused of killing his father-in-law in the Sellersville Community in October 2014.
The process for selecting the jury has been underway since Monday and is expected to be completed by Wednesday.
Brett Richard Yeiter is accused of the shooting death of 69-year-old Paul Phillips at Books of Acts Holiness Church on Jimmy Sellers Road near the Florida state line.
Yeiter was on the run from police and was captured in Amarillo, Texas days later, after highway patrol officers performed a traffic stop on the vehicle he was driving along I-40.
Then-sheriff Grover Smith said that Yeiter was driving the same vehicle he left the area in.
In November 2014, he was given a $1.5 million bond.
