Neal wins 3 against Atmore

On March 14, the Eagles faced Escambia County in Atmore for their first area game.

In the first inning, the Eagles had great offense and scored two runs.

The Eagle defense was excellent and held off the Devils the majority of the game.

Sam Bosarge had three runs and Matt Thomas and Jordan Crane both had two runs, helping the Eagles with their win against Escambia County.

By the end of the game, the Eagles scored 11 runs.

Their defense stayed strong and only allowed Escambia County to earn one run. The game ended with an 11-1 score.

The wins did not stop here.

On March 15, the Eagles continued their area games with a double header, also against Escambia County.

In the first game, the Eagles had good defense. The starting pitcher was Jordan Crane. Offensively, the Eagles had many runs against the Devils. In the sixth inning, the Eagles allowed the Devils to score two runs, however that did not beat the twelve runs scored by the Eagles. This game was another win by the Blue Eagles with a score of 12-2. In the second game, Jacob Bondurant and Sam Bosarge scored the first homeruns of the season. In the first inning, the Eagles defensively held off the Devils. At the bottom of the first, the Eagle offense scored nine runs on Escambia County. The Eagles held off the Devils, and steadily scored runs until the third inning, where they allowed them to score two runs by the end of the game. There were only five innings played this time. The Eagles quickly shut down this game with a dominating win over the Devils. W.S. Neal ended this game with twenty runs total. The final score was 20-2. Next week, the Eagles take on J.U. Blacksher on March 18 at 4, Williamson on March 19 at 4:30, and a double-header against Williamson on March 21.
