A Brewton woman sustained minor injuries in a fatal crash that left a motorcycle driver dead.
According to Lt. Joe Piggott, spokesperson for the Alabama State Troopers Mobile Post, the crash occurred at approximately 7:20 p.m., on Sat., May 11, on Baldwin County Road 38 in the Whitehouse Fork community.
Abelardo Amado Alaniz, 41, of Bay Minette, was riding a 1997 Yamaha motorcycle northbound on the road when he collided with a 2014 Chevrolet Impala that was traveling south.
Alaniz was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.
The driver of the Chevrolet, Tiffany Crutchfield, 25, of Brewton, sustained minor injury but was not transported for treatment.
