Reader’s Digest recognizes Drexell & Honeybees
One of Brewton’s most giving places has found itself on the Reader’s Digest’s annual Nicest Places in America list. Drexell & Honeybees has been feeding those in need since 2018, but no good deed goes unnoticed. Drexell & Honeybees was nominated for many reasons. For one, it is one of the only 60 pay-what-you-can donation restaurants in the United States.
“Drexell & Honeybees gives food and dignity to people who need it most and has inspired the surrounding community to do the same,” the person who nominated Drexell & Honeybees Cindy Dixon said.
Drexell & Honeybees has made the list of 50 Nicest Places in America, but in order for Drexell & Honeybees to be named the number one nicest place in America, people need to vote. Voting began on Friday and will end July 21, 2019 at 12:01 p.m. Eastern Time. You can vote by going to https://www.rd.com/nicest-places-contest/ and clicking the state of Alabama. You can vote only once every 24 hours.
