A new Brewton event will help usher in the new year.

After years of hosting the Blueberry Drop, the Greater Brewton Area Chamber of Commerce is planning a New Years Celebration downtown.

Hosted at Camp 31 and the Hourglass, the area will include 2 separate events. Inside the Hourglass, a New Years Celebration dinner themed Gatsby will take guests to the roaring 20’s in honor of the year 2020. Tickets are $50 each and all sales benefit local charities.

Outside, the Greater Brewton  Area Chamber of Commerce and City of Brewton invite everyone to enjoy a fun evening of food and music under the big white tent at Camp 31.

Food vendors and Camps 31 will serve food at the event. At 6, Local musicians will begin performing, followed by Bobby Moore and the Rhythm Aces at 8:30 p.m.

Kirk Jay, a finalist on “The Voice” will perform at 10:30 until the first burst of fireworks at midnight. The community is encouraged to attend.
