Mrs. Kay Dawn Weaver, 80, passed away Sun., Jan. 12, 2020 in a Pensacola hospital.

Mrs. Weaver was born in Pasadena, CA and had been a resident of Brewton for the past 47 years, coming from Glendora, Calif.  She loved her family and enjoyed coloring with her grandchildren, gardening, feeding birds and squirrels, watching cooking shows, collecting recipes, and watching Fox News.  She previously attended Brewton Presbyterian Church.

Mrs. Weaver was preceded in death by her father, Scott Brigman; her mother, Gayle Carroll Wynn; two brothers, Kent Brigman, and Gary Wynn.

She is survived by her husband, Gene Autry Weaver; four sons, Dan (Kathy) Weaver, Chris (Rosemary) Weaver, Dennis (Tatiana) Weaver, Terry (Nawal); two daughters, Carrie Weaver (Philip) Brown, and Carrin Weaver; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at Craver’s Funeral Home on Thursday from 6PM until 8PM.

Funeral services will be held on Fri., Jan. 17, 2020, at 10AM from the chapel of Craver’s Funeral Home with Rev. Tony Richburg, and Rev. Parker Johnson officiating.

Interment will follow in Weaver Family Cemetery with Craver’s Funeral Home of Brewton directing.

Mrs. Weaver’s grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
