The Brewton Career center will host Feb. workshops focused on finances.

The first event will be hosted on Tues., Feb. 11 at 10 a.m.

The workshop is entitled, “Banking Basics for Students,” and is presented by Regions Bank and the Brewton Career Center. The workshop will take place at Hope Place Family Resource Center located at 212 St. Joseph Ave.

The second workshop is scheduled for Wed., Feb. 26 at 10 a.m.

This workshop is entitled, “Filing a Claim for Veteran’s Compensation or Pension.” This workshop is presented by Gene Moore, Veteran’s Service Officer with Alabama Dept. of VA. This workshop will take place at the Brewton Career Center located at 1023 Douglas Ave. #314.
