Alabama Power crews continue to work to restore power.
“Crews have been working and at the present time, there are 1000 people still without power. We hope to have most all customers power restored by 6 p.m.” said Beth Thomas, public information representative for the Mobile division for Alabama Power.
Currently, crews can be seen all over town.
“We will continue to work through the evening to restore everyone’s power,” said Thomas. Encouraging the public to stay safe during this time, Thomas added, “ We continue to ask customer’s to stay away from down power lines.”
“Thanks to everyone for your patience as we continue to work and restore power for everyone,” she concluded.
