WING, ALA.
Mr. Billie Wayne Jordan, 72, of Wing, Ala., passed away Monday Mar. 30, 2020, after a brief illness. He was a former resident of Blackmon, Fla., and a long time resident of Wing.
Mr. Jordan was a member of the Golan Assembly of God Church in Blackmon. He attended the Escambia County Farms School and W.S. Neal, and was a retired heavy equipment operator from Okaloosa County, Fla. He loved riding horses and enjoyed fishing.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Barbara Ryals Jordan; two sons, Frankie (Christine) Jordan and Lee (Tommie) Jordan both of Bradley, Ala.;two daughters, Tammy Steele of Wing and Casey (James) Hooker of Baker, Fla.; a brother, Roger (Teresa) Jordan of Brewton; a sister, Betty (Kenneth Ray) Hoomes of Damascus, Ala.; (15) grandchildren, Amber, Megan, Nick, Zac, Brittney, Krista, Kellie, Kam, Isaac, Trinity, Remi, Tyler, Haley, Destiny, Leiland; (18) great grandchildren, Tanner, Bailey, Stiles, Taytan, Stone, Mikah, Brice, Jordan, Ashton, Haisley, Tristyn, Judah, Aubree, Noah, Drew, Carter, Skylar, Addison
He is preceded in death by his parents, James Frankie and Comer Lee Fuqua Jordan; two brothers, James “Buddy” Jordan and Ray Jordan.
Private Family Funeral Services are scheduled for Friday, Apr. 3, 2020, at 2PM at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with Pastor Todd Sowell officiating.
Internment will follow in Elim Cemetery, Roberts Community, Brewton, Ala. with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Brewton, Ala. directing.
