A Memorial Day Service will take place on Mon. May 25. At the event, all individuals from Escambia County that sacrificed his or her life for the country since WWI will be honored. The event will take place at the Escambia County Courthouse.
“We want to recognize these people that have sacrificed their lives for our freedoms,” said Joe Dozier, organizer of the event.
A time of special recognition, the time will offer a pause during the day to show reverence for so many.
Everyone in attendance is asked to observe the 6 ft. social distancing rule. The event begins at 9 a.m. Mon. morning.
