D.W. McMillan Memorial Hospital announced that Holly King-Stevens, D.O. has joined the staff of the D.W. McMillan Medical Center. She will begin seeing patients beginning in October 2020.
“We are very fortunate to be able to add another outstanding family practice physician to our medical center team,” stated Rick Owens, hospital administrator. “We are committed to providing the best possible care in the Brewton area. Our goal is to have enough providers for our patients to be able to schedule an appointment and see the doctor in a timely manner. With the addition of Dr. King-Stevens we are better prepared to effectively meet the needs of our community.”
Although new to the D.W. McMillan Medical Center, Dr. King-Stevens and surgeon husband, Dr. Paul Stevens, have already been in Brewton a few months. King-Stevens stated, “As a family, we are looking forward to creating roots. We bought our home, have got to know many people in Brewton and look forward to meeting many more. To say we’re excited is an understatement.”
King-Stevens received her Doctor of Medicine from West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine in Lewisburg, West Virginia, and completed her residency at Kettering Health Network’s Grandview Medical Center in Dayton, Ohio, with a specialization in Family Practice.
Prior to graduating from West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. King-Stevens graduated from Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia with a bachelor’s degree in chemistry.
