Mrs. Carolyn Eloise Dubose Golden, 89, of Golden Church Road in Jay, Fla., passed away Saturday morning, January 9, 2021 in a Jay, Fla., nursing facility after a brief illness.
She was a native of Covington County, and a long time resident of Dixonville, Fla. Mrs. Golden was a member of the True Worship Assembly of God Church, retired secretary of Golden Harvest Flying Service, and was a homemaker.
She is survived by one son, Tony (Susan) Golden of Montgomery; two daughters, Cynthia Golden of Jay, Fl., and Sandy Golden (Tommy) Holt of Grand Bay; one brother, Gerald Ray Dubose of Jay, Fla.; eight grandchildren, Carolyn Holt (Beau) McHenry, Wayne (Amy) Holt, Leigh Ann Holt (Doug) Yeager, Paula Holt (Ryan) Bristow, Tonya Golden (Erin) Jackson, Anthony (Megan) Golden, Cheyenne Golden (Nathan) White, Hannah Hall (Jacob) Wadsworth; and 23 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Bud Nolis and Mary Lord Dubose; her husband, Paul Golden; two great-grandchildren; a brother, Jefferson Gill Dubose; a sister, Louise Jackson; and a sister-in-law, Glenda Faye Dubose.
Private ‘Family Only’ graveside services were held Tuesday afternoon January 12, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Golden Memorial Holiness Church Cemetery with Bishop Ryan Bristow officiating. Interment followed in Golden Memorial Holiness Church Cemetery in Jay, Fla.
Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
