Troy head volleyball coach Josh Lauer and the volleyball program have announced the dates and information for a series of summer camps in July 2021. The dates include a team camp (July 14-15) and an all-skills camp (July 16-17).
The team camp is open to any high school varsity or junior varsity team, and the all-skills camp is open to 7th-12th graders.
Lauer and his staff have taken Troy volleyball to new heights never seen before in program history. The Trojans have reached the semifinals of the Sun Belt Conference tournament in two consecutive seasons, and, in 2019, recorded the best season in school history that ended with a trip to the NIVC, Troy’s first-ever postseason berth.
Under Lauer’s direction, Troy has recorded back-to-back seasons with at least 10 conference wins for the first time in program history. The Trojans are poised to continue their ascension in the Sun Belt as Troy returns 15 of the 16 players from the fall 2020 roster in 2021.
Recently, Troy became the first Sun Belt school, and one of just 49 schools in the nation to complete the installation of a Taraflex FIVB court, the official court for the Federation of International Volleyball worldwide and the Olympic Games since 1976.
