The Escambia County Healthcare Authority says there has only been one new case of COVID-19 reported in the county since last Friday’s report.

According to data released on Tuesday, April 20, ECHCA shows the lone case came from a patient tested at the Atmore Community Hospital. Some 20 test results have been recorded since last week with 19 results coming back negative for the virus.

There were 14 tests samples taken at D.W. McMillan Memorial Hospital in Brewton with none of the results having a positive outcome.
