W.S. Neal defeated St. Michael 11-4 on May 6 to win the Class 4A, Area 1 title at home.

The Lady Blue Eagles began the tournament, defeating Williamson 16-0, and STM 11-1 to advance to the championship game.

Escambia County fell 20-10 to STM in the second game of the tournament, and bowed out aftera  34-14 loss in the loser’s bracket.

STM defeated Williamson 15-0 in the loser’s bracket finals.

WSN advances to the Class 4A South Regional Tournament next week in Gulf Shores.
