Even though the number of positive COVID-19 cases in the county has slowed dramatically over the past few months, there is an increase in cases for the week.

According to data from the Escambia County Healthcare Authority, three new cases were confirmed with testing at D.W. McMillan Memorial Hospital in Brewton. No new cases were recorded at Atmore Community Hospital according to the most recent ECHCA data.
