If ropin’ and ridin’ sounds interesting, the opportunity to enjoy that and more is arriving Friday and Saturday in Brewton.
The Greater Brewton Chamber of Commerce event is set to begin with gate opening at 6 p.m on both nights at the Brewton Municipal Arena at O’Bsannon Park off St. Nicholas Avenue in Brewton.
Judy Crane, executive director for the COC, said the special event will provide entertainment for the entire family.
“We will have Rawhide & Rusty on hand for entertainment,” Crane said. “There will be a mechanical bull to ride and we will have Mutoon Bustin’ for the children.”
The cost for the mechanical bull and the Mutton Bustin’ event will be $5 each with a 50 pound limit for the Mutton Bustin’, Crane said.
“We will have food vendors on hand to provide refreshments for both nights of the rodeo,” Crane said.
Discount advance tickets are available until 5 p.m. on Thursday either through the Chamber website at www.brewtonchamber.com/store or at the Chamber offices at City hall on Douglas Avenue. Tickets will also be available at the gate at $15 each. Gates open at 6 p.m.
