Consignment shop honored at ribbon cutting

Brewton area shoppers now have a new place to find stylish fashions and exceptional prices.
Evelyn Daniels has opened “Twice as Nice Plus” consignment shop in the Brewton Shopping Center on Douglas Avenue.
The shop, which had a soft opening last month, was officially welcomes to the business community with a ribbon cutting event Tuesday.
“I have talked about having a consignment shop for many years,” Daniels said. “This has been a dream of mine for a while. I just wanted to having a shop that offers up-scale clothing at a price people can reach. I think this will be that place and I’m raring to go.”
The shop is open for sales of items on consignment and is also taking new consignments. Open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday, the shop is located next to ElRey’s restaurant near Pic N Save.
On hand for the ribbon cutting was Mayor Yank Lovelace, Chamber President Mallory Hendrix, Chamber Executive Director Judy Crane, Chamber Secretary Debi Pugh and other members of the Chamber along with friends of the owner of the shop.
