It’s not everyday a family and community can celebrate a centennial event for a special person.
On March 19, family and friends of Mrs. Edith Dozier gathered for a special celebration to honor the birthday girl for her 100th birthday.
A celebration barbecue event was held for the honoree with family members traveling from Buford, Ga., Nashville, Tenn., Jacksonville, Fla., and Mobile to celebrate the milestone birthday.
Dozier was blessed with four children, 10 grandchildren and has eight great-grandchildren.
Family members were regaled with family stories from days gone by by the woman known for her quick wit and great sense of humor.
Dozier’s birthday was March 22, 2022.
